About Me

I'm a backend engineer by profession, and a developer by passion.

I was born and brought up in Hyderabad, and graduated from Bennett University in 2024 (COVID Batch) with a B.Tech CSE degree, after all the experiments the Educational Ministry put us through.

After work you can find me playing metal songs on my guitar 🎸 or hoping to see LeBron 🏀 win his 5th title.

I don't know where I see myself going in the next 5 years, other than to Ladakh on my MT-15 🏍.

I use NixOS btw. And Hyprland. And Neovim.

Backend Development

My strongest skill - I have almost an year of professional experience in building RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF), Django and Flask with SQLAlchemy.

I have worked extensively with PostGres and Redis, and have experience in Celery and NoSQL databases like FireStore and MongoDB.

I am comfortable with both monoliths and microservices.

UI Development

This site is my biggest project in terms of UI development, but I have beginner-level knowledge in Astro, Next.js, Flutter and Android Studio.

DevOps

No professional experience in an actual DevOps role, but I know my way around AWS services and have deployed a project to Google Cloud using Terraform.

I also use NixOS as a daily driver, so I can help you with Nix deployments as well.

Data Analysis / BI

powerbi

I am skilled with SQL, especially in PostGres and Redshift - and have created materialized views in Redshift to speed up slow queries.

I have built dashboards in Google Sheets using formulas, and have built Power BI dashboards by stiching together data from Google Sheets and Redshift.
